These are magnificent and mysterious lines which are worth flying over. They are located at 550 m. above sea level and 25 km. North of the city of Nazca.
These enigmatic lines traced on the sand on an extension of 350 km., represent designs of animals and plants (Spider, lizard, hummingbird, condor, tree, etc.). In Dr. Maria Reich´s opinion, it is the world´s largest calendar.

PALPA LINES (550 m.a.s.l.)
Located on Km. 395 of the South Panamerican Road and East of the city of Palpa, the lines are huge and mysterious geometrical, zoomorphic and phytomorphic designs traced on the sand and covering an extension of 350 km. These lines represent a variety of shapes like the Hummingbird, the Star, the Traveler, the Woman, the Temple of Fertility, the Man, the Trapeze, the Solar Clock, among others, in great dimensions which reach a span of 15 to 250 m. each.
