Itinerary:

Day 1: Cusco – Chinchero - Wayoqari – Yanacocha
Andean Flora Exploration Program
At 6:00am, our bus will take us to Chinchero. After our visit there, we’ll continue toward Wayoqari and Yanacocha, where we’ll begin our exploration of Andean flora. Along the way, we’ll have lunch, and later, we’ll arrive at our first campsite to have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Yanacocha – Quellococha – Chaquicocha – Urubamba – San Isidro – Chicón
Life Zones and Wetlands Exploration Program
Our day will begin with breakfast at 7:00am followed by a visit and exploration of Yanacocha, Quellococha and Chaquicocha. Then, we’ll continue to Urubamba, having lunch along the way, and later trekking though the San Isidro area. Finally, we’ll arrive at our campsite near Chicón, where we’ll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Chicón – San Isidro - Pichingoto – Maras – Moray – Cusco
Breakfast will be served at 7:00am. Then, we’ll continue to San Isidro to visit the Pichingoto native community as well as the salt mines in Maras. After lunch at our campsite, we’ll visit an Incan experimental agricultural center at Moray before returning to Cusco.
